First off I hope your OK. Second, you really should never use ice to cool down a burn. You can "burn" yourself just as bad by using ice.(frostbite). Its too late now, but as soon as you realize you are burnt you should run cool, to cold water over the burn. This will remove the heat. If you don't remove the heat, you will just continue to cook. Once it has cooled off, and you believe it will just be a minot burn, redness or a slight blister, aply aloe. If it will become a bad blister or the blister breaks, you really should get it checked out by a doctor. You can get infected very easily if it is not taken care of properly.

Use either aloe vera (from the plant or a gel) or a burn cream. Cool (not cold) water will also help. If it's exceptionally bad (i.e. black) go to the emergency room. Otherwise, just keep putting stuff on it--unless it's really bad and you're bleeding, don't cover it (with bandages), it will take longer to heal. Just be careful to keep it clean.

Go to your closest convience store and get lotion that contains aloe. Aloe contains a chemical agent that binds the skin and deadens the nerves around the burn. It its painless and will leave you pain free. Hope that helps...
