its FREE , and yes you need the cable to download the photos to your computer or you can use blue-tooth or infrared if you have them.

You will need a cable to connect the camera to the computer and enables file transfer. The Camera should be fully charged or capable of charging via the cable connected to the comp or be able to cahrge and transfer photos at the same time. This ensures taht your battery doesn't die during the transfer process.

If you are using XP you don't really need any software but I would still recomend Picassa by google. It is free and it will organize and your photos on your comp in an amazingly easy to use manner. It's setup is not complex and help is readily available on'line.

picassa allows you to send photos via several ways - a gmail account, a yahoo acount, outlook...get it and find out.

Happy sending

You don't need software unless you intend to edit the photos before you send them, and even then your camera should have come with some rubbish software that would probably suit your needs for now.

You just need a cable, plug it in, open the new folder (it should show as a removeable disk) then copy the files to your computer, and send them as you do any file.

If you're computer accepts eg sd cards download picassa free
you then put your photos in piccassa you can collage or single pic from the software via the email button could not be easier
providing you can get it on your computer other ways get it put on a cd by an outside source or made into a picture from an outside source then load or scan it on still using piccassa from your camera shouldn't be difficult just follow the instructions if you do not have inst. or have lost them you can usually print of from the camera website

All u need is a USB lead that connects from your cam to ur PC. Try to get a cam that comes with a usb. Then u won't need no software as windows will recognise it as a removable disk, u can then copy and paste pics in between ur pc and ur cam.

Your question is so vague it's hard to know what you are asking.
