I need a birthday gift idea for a girl turning 17 in December. I am also 17 right now, and I want to let her know that I am interested in dating her. So far I have not shown (though I have felt) any interest in her, and I want to start now. I want the gift to be subtle, so no roses or diamonds (I also thought about an iPod, but her parents are getting her one). Money is not a problem. I would appreciate any ideas, especially from girls her age, thank you so much.

It's all about the mix cd... or in this case since you know her parents are getting her an IPod... and that's obviously somthing she wants... how about a playlist to fill that IPod? You can make her a playlist... that hints at how you feel... put some of her favorite songs on it, and things of that nature... romantic, not cheesy, somthing she'll use, and somthing you've made her... SEE?!

The best thing for you to do is to make her something. A homemade card and something that lets her know that you pay attention to her. For example, if she is a Buffy the Vampire Slayer fanatic get her the first few seasons on DVD. If she likes reading, find out her favorite author/book and get her a nice, hard back version, etc... just something that makes her realize that you know her better than she might have noticed. If she has a best friend, that's where your open door is...

Get her a nice bracelet or pendant, you can't go wrong with jewery, it doesn't have to be cheesy, just nice. If jewelry is really out of the question buy her a picture frame, but first get someone to take a picture of the two of you together, she doesn't even have to know the pictures being taken, then put the picture in the frame and give to her, she'll love it.

As a guy, my renowned present is while my female chum made a splash "coupon e book." you may only throw a gaggle of random issues in there and im particular he will have fun with it.. some examples could only be coupon for you taking him out to dinner, action picture evening, back rub down, perhaps some greater intimate issues.. only an theory that i admire alot. this is alot better while this is selfmade too. stable success

Get her a silver bracelet with a charm that has her initial on it. It is feminine, dainty, and she will love it.
