I know that this pill is an acne treatment, But if I take it, is it also a birth control to prevent you from getting pregnant?!?!

yes, Diane-35 is also a method of prevention for pregnancy which is used mostly for testosterone unbalance problems because of the type of hormones that it contains. When using it for acne or any other problem, you'll be using a contraceptive method as well.

first of all read all the prexautions on the info sheets that came wjth both meds. Read all of it very closely then read it again, NO fooling! Sometimes you miss somethting important the first time you look at it . Its not a bad idea to have someelse read it too so as to macke sure you understood it corectly. Most of the time there is a 1-800 # on the pack you can call for info too. Some forms of B/C actually help with the acne problem ,check into that . Then you could be curing you acne while you having preventing unwanted pregnacy HAH ! How you like that?

it's an option if you have pre-menstrual breakouts. make sure you talk to your doc to get the right one and you know what you're taking
