Frontline or Advantage. Which ever one your vet recommends is the best way to go.
Flea baths, soaps, etc. don't work for beans so don't even bother. Usually you can't get the flea bath down to the skin on your dog or cat anyway so the bath only gets you wet.
Frontline or Advantage placed between the shoulder blades will take care of the fleas on you dogs within a couple of days. You may want to bomb your house also to help break their cycle.
Just do it the way your vet prescribes and you'll get rid of them both on your pet and in your house.
Hope this helps.

Frontline... I used Frontline for my rotti when I first got her. Within a day or two, the amount of fleas when down drastically. It is a 3 month program. I loved it! It's a decent price to, depending on the weight of your dog.
Giving your dog a bath in dawn soap, the dish soap, really works too.

Frontline Plus is supposed to be good. Frontline regular I've found to not be so effective. My vet uses Frontline also, as I believe there are not so many bad reactions to it.
