not sure but gl at least you applied!!!!!! why can't everyone if they come to the states?? make's no since!

listen to justaxing, he/she is correct... but if you can't do that, head over to uscis.gov and find the infopass request form, follow their instructions and they will give you an online infopass meeting date in which you will head over to your local INS office and you can inquire about any status directly with them... the only problem with infopasses is that if you're in a high traffic area for immigration like New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, there may not be any infopasses available as they only give out every two weeks, and so many people are requesting that if you don't check the website constantly you might miss out...

Submit an EOIR-33 and provide INS with your up to date address. You should receive a correspondence with the status of your case.
