how far would you go to be nice to someone who has a different set of beliefs than you? Would you try to be nice when answering their questions or would you put all your cards on the table, come what may?

I don't judge others based on their beliefs. If I have nothing nice to say to someone I tend not to voice an opinion.

I do my best to be nice to others, even if I disagree with their beliefs because I've been on the receiving end of being treated poorly by those who disagree with me. I know I'm not perfect, I refuse to say that I am because I know that I screw up. But I try my best to be nice, even when I'm irritated and ticked off.

When I answer questions, I try to be as nice as possible. If I see a question that could potentially tick me off when I read it, I just don't answer it if I know I can't do so politely and calmly. When I answer the questions I DO choose to answer, I say what I need to say as calmly and politely as I can. There's no real use in answering a question just to insult someone. Then you're just perpetuating the hatred and hard feelings between different people on here.

I always try to provide honest answers, and I usually try to be as polite as possible (sometimes, though, I just can't help myself; truly stupid questions deserve equally stupid answers), regardless of the asker's beliefs. I will not compromise my beliefs, but there is no reason to be an *** when spreading a little knowledge.

I only wish that some people were as forgiving when it comes to rating answers. On any question that involves religious issues, I can always expect at least two thumbs down, no matter what I say, and they are almost always from people who don't bother to read any further than to see that I'm Wiccan and automatically assume the worst about me.

The Bible says "Judge not lest ye be judged". If someone of a different "faith" than I asks me an intelligent and valid question I will endeavour to answer it to the best of my ability. Christians must love their brothers, their neighbour as themselves and even love their enemies. No one can force anyone to believe something they don't want to believe. I take them to the Lord in prayer and let God work in their lives. But if anyone challenges what I believe, challenges the Bible without foundation -ie, states the Bible is full of contradictions-then I feel compelled to rise to the challenge. I find it odd how some people condemn Christians for being closed minded and intolerant of others then turn around and mock my beliefs or display an obvious intolerance towards me and my beliefs.

since I know were all different I wouldnt judge anyone on/or what they believe. A friend is from the heart I am not here to change others mind about what they want to do/go in life. I wouldnt TRY to be nice I would be myself. If I have nothing nice to say to anyone I would keep my mouth closed.

AS IT IS IN ISLAM I WOULD NOT BE RUDE. BUT I WOULD LET THEM KNOW MY SIDE AS WELL SO THEY CAN DESIDE ON THEIR OWN. IF I ACT AGRESSIVE TOWARDS SOMEONE THEN THATS HOW THEY WOULD VIEW MY RELIGION SO NO I WOULDNT BE MEAN.
