Just now my parents were cooking some collard greens and some of them were burnt. Now the smell is just enveloping my house. How do you get rid the smell?

Open up the windows and doors for 30 minutes. Try boiling some vinegar and water in a pot. It works for cutting down the smell of fish. It may possibly work.

Put some cinnamon, cloves, apples in a saucepan filled with water, turn on med.heat and let it fragrance fill the air. You can use the microwave too, but it's not as strong.

pour some vinegar in a pan of water and bring to a boil. then just remove from heat and let sit. this should help absorb the odor.

Open the windows.

What else are they cooking? Can I come over? I could do with some greens and cornbread.
