My friend who works at a salon(i think thats how u spell it) said that if you wax your hair, like your arm hair for example, it will thin it out cuz the part it comes out of gets killed or somthin. but if u shave it, it thickens it. is that true? and would plucking do the same as waxing(thin it out i mean).

Waxing will not kill the folicle of your hair, however it does seem to make the hair grow thinner. Shaving gives the apperence of thickening the hair because the end of the hair is blunt. Plucking does the same as waxing but waxing is so much easier and less painful.

im a cosmetologist and yes waxing and tweezing can eventually permanently damage the papilla.... which causes your hair to stop growing. shaving does not make your hair thicker it just seems that way because before you shave for the first time your hair has been exposed to the sun and oxygen which lightens your hair. then when you shave it and it grows back it seems darker because it really hasnt been exposed to the sun and that is what makes it look thicker. and for waxing and scars.... if it is done the right way you should be fine. but you shouldntwax if you are using medication for ance or any retinal a products

whats up, Ones you start up off up up removing hair...there is no in the past. in case you shave or use cream the hair will come shrink lower back thicker and darker. the only attitude that keeps your hair person-friendly and skinny is waxing. Ouch! yet no longer so ouch whilst your hair keeps to be person-friendly and skinny.. stable fulfillment!

Waxing may leave scarring, especially if you have very sensitive skin.
