I am from Singapore, been to Australia a couple years back.
5 things i like are: the lovely beaches, the friendly people (they have a very good sense of direction), the food, their culture and the shopping.
there are only 2 things i don't like: the flies in summer and taxes.
I like it there so much i don't really have anything that i dislike. Cheers

I have never been to Australia, but I can tell you what I think I would love about it. 1. The dirt is said to be red. I think that is gorgeous. 2. The wide openness of it. Elbow room, I think it is called. 3. The people whom I have met from Australia, have all been very nice. 4. The history of it. It sounds like it would have been a wild time back in the day. 5. I know this may not be 'politically correct', but the accent. Gotta love the accents of people from different places in the world.

5 things I like about my country (heaps of others, but you want 5 only - oh well):
Personal freedoms & strong anti-discrimination legislation
Great weather most of the time
Great economy
Federally funded education system
Public health system
5 things I don't like:
Prime Minister being Bush's lapdog
Move towards religion in state schools (they'll lose my vote over that)
Cost of airfares to anywhere else in the world except NZ
Too many politicians per head of population (federal, state, local government)
The current long term draught
Although I live here, I'm answering on the basis I was originally a non-Aussie and moved here for a better lifestyle!

My nan lives in Australia and so does my many first cousins and aunts. What i like about Australian people is the accent. I love the accent. I like the way they sometimes act. The way they pronounce words and different words they have. I dont know what i dont like about them. I havent visited Australia but one of my cousins came to AZ and i was there too so i got to know her. I will come back to you in 2008 when i have visited Australia.

No.., but as an Aussie I can tell you what we think of America, but then again I probably shouldn't. After all Guantanamo Bay already has an innocent Aussie.

I could name you thousands of reasons why I don't like it, but I can't come up with a good one.Ask people that have been there or know something about that place and chances are they will give you a basketfull of negatives. They don't call it the land from down under for nothing.....KECK
