I'm in my bed, sick- and bored, and on the internet. I have an upset stomache, nasia(sp), coughing(sp) fits, and a really runny nose. And my boyfriend, yesterday ditched me to go to a party- and lied that he was at home, when my brother saw him there. And when I didn't show up to church (obviously because I'm ILL) he gets the nerve to ask my brother where the hell I was, and why the hell I was being a stuck up- because he was at the party. He called and I didn't answer.. Was this the right thing to do? Should I be pissed off?

You have a right to be pissed off, and you did the right thing by not answering the phone either. Let him get a taste of what it feels like to be ignored by continuing to not answer the phone. This guy not only didn't come by to see you while you were sick, but he lied about being at home too. He has the freedom to go anywhere he wants, but he doesn't have to be a liar about it either, and do it behind your back. Sweetie get a guy that's going to be there for you when you need him. Not somebody that's going to ditch you when you need him most. What if it was something more serious going on with you??? He would have still lied and been at this party. Who has time for games??? Save yourself from another headache and find someone else that's going to make you feel special, and be real about it too.

1) You missed a chance to tell him off? You should have answered the phone and given him a chance to apologize. Or told him off (Chapter #5 in the Women's Handbook).
2) Did you expect him to stay with you being sick? Did you tell him that you expected that? Men don't always guess what women want us to do. (Chapter #11 of the Women's Handbook)
3) Sounds like you are really sick, are you contageous? If you are, and then he may have good reason not to come by, but you want 'reassurance' right? Get this one right now, Men generally want & need to act like helpless babies when we get a sniffle, while it is perfectly acceptable for a woman to get out of her deathbed to fix breakfast. (Chapter #9).

Maybe he feels that you are overplaying your "illness". 9 out of 10 times women have the same illness that men have and deal with it as though they were dying. It's just a cold, get over it.

Dump him NOW! The guy is a jerk and a moron. Make sure all your friends know why you dumped him to hopefully prevent another girl from getting with him and being treated the same way.

Just because you are sick does not mean it is the end of his life. You should of handled it like a mature adult and told him your feelings instead of playing a childish game by not speaking to him. That is very childish and selfish of you for not answering your phone. He could of been calling to apoligize.

well he's a guy and kind of doing his manly thing. you should probably talk to him. he may not know your sick. however lying to you is bad so talk to him. dont get mad with out at least talking to him.he may explain him self. dont make bad assumptions.
