Ok, So I met a guy this morning at worship service, and we exchanged numbers after talking fo maybe 15 or so minutes. I want to go to the movies tonight. Would it be wierd to call him and ask him to go if I only just met him this morning?

No I think it would be a good idea. If you were calling him just to talk, I would wait a few days. But the movie sounds cool.

He is probably asking himself the same question.
I think you should go for it. Not sure how old you are, but if you are still a teen, maybe get a group of kids together to go to the movies. That way, you can call him and say, I am going to the movies with some friends and thought it would be nice if you could go.
Basically, he gave you his number for a reason...to call! He wants to hear from you and if you make it casual, it won't seem so weird to him.

First of all, good for you. I still think there is no better place to meet singles than in church!
It's great that you hit it off so well and exchanged numbers, but I do think it would be too soon. I don't think it would be a "desperate" move, just too soon.
I would call him in the next day or so, and maybe catch a movie next weekend!

I don't think it would be weird. If you exchanged numbers then he must have wanted to make further contact with you. He's probably expecting to hear from you or he's wondering how long he should wait before making the first move. Go for it...if he's busy tonight he'll let you know and likely want to make plans for another night.

It's to soon, i would suggest waiting and just limit your interaction to phone conversation to help get a feel of his character before going out on and actual date, especially not the movies, the environment came be to intimate

it does seem a little quick to me and sounds desperate but if you feelings are that strong only after 15 minutes call him what could it hurt

i think if he really likes you he will call you first.
