All humans understand that knowing is better than believing.

No matter how much we believe we are invulnerable, we die if we drink poison or jump from a skyscraper. Irrational belief is evil in all our experiences in daily life.

So why this preference and what difference does it make to him? Why does God value irrational beliefs and decided to stablish his present relation to humans on them?

Because God DOESN'T exist. Moses was a just deranged man with an invisible friend. When he wrote the Torah, there was absolutely zero evidence that his invisible friend existed.

Now, some 6000 years later, there is still no evidence that God exists. People believe in God because they don't want to accept that when they die, there is nothing else. It is a foolish fantasy that keeps people from living their lives to the fullest.

All the God stories are so popular, because they appeal to everyone who is playing the Game of Life, and losing.

"Oh, you may have a dull, unsatisfying life, but your AFTERLIFE is going to be spectacular."

"Sure, you don't have any food or shelter now, but Just believe in my invisible friend, and when you shed these mortal coils, you'll never be hungry again!"

Think about it...

I'll answer this question from an agnostic point of view, that being the existence of God is never to be proven or disproven.

I fear God, even though I'm not sure if He exists. Christianity would tell me I'm going to hell for this. Atheists would call me a fence sitter. Ultimately, I'm just a realist.

We can all see the complexity of the Universe, and no amount of science can truly explain the existence we live in. No amount of biblical scripture can prove so otherwise. In fact, biblical scripture states that noone will ever prove his existence, for he wishes it not to be until judgement day.

I guess you have to look at it logically: There are three options:

1. Universe exists without any creator: unlikely but possible.

2. Universe exists with anonymous creator: plausible explanation.

3. Universe exists with creator who identifies himself with proof.

In the event of option 3, we would all immediately obey God because the consequences would be very explicit. God would become our ruler, having more power than the president of the united states and every other world leader, with direct obedience from every human being.

Unfortunately, the end result would be drones. The bible does speak of beings in this predicament: angels. Compelled to do good, and nothing but, for eternity. The alternative is being cast out forever, like Satan. Angels supposedly long for human freedom. The freedom of choice. True freedom of choice, however, can only be granted to those too innocent to know the full truth. That knowledge would, logically, remove all our freedom.

We are, for all intensive purposes, either here randomly or here as an experiment/artwork to express true freedom of choice.

i will answer this question from an agnostic attitude, that being the existence of God is on no account to be shown or disproven. I concern God, even although i'm uncertain if He exists. Christianity could tell me i will hell for this. Atheists could call me a fence sitter. finally, i'm merely a realist. we are able to all see the complexity of the Universe, and no quantity of technological awareness can somewhat clarify the existence we live in. No quantity of biblical scripture can instruct so in any different case. in actuality, biblical scripture states that noone will ever instruct his existence, for he desires it to not be till judgement day. i assume you'll be able to desire to look at it logically: There are 3 techniques: one million. Universe exists with out any writer: not likely yet available. 2. Universe exists with nameless writer: achieveable rationalization. 3. Universe exists with writer who identifies himself with evidence. in the form of option 3, we could all in the present day obey God with the aid of fact the outcomes could be very show. God could substitute into our ruler, having extra potential than the president of america and another worldwide chief, with direct obedience from each and every individual. regrettably, the top effect could be drones. The bible does talk of beings in this catch 22 situation: angels. forced to do sturdy, and not something yet, for eternity. the alternative is being solid out continuously, like devil. Angels supposedly long for human freedom. the liberty of determination. genuine freedom of determination, despite the fact that, can merely be granted to those too harmless to be attentive to the finished fact. That information could, logically, do away with all our freedom. we are, for all in intensity purposes, the two here randomly or here as an test/paintings to particular genuine freedom of determination.

>Why does God value irrational beliefs

And yet, in His Word, through the Prophet Isaiah he says "come, now, and let us REASON together, saith the Lord ..."

Doesn't "reasoning" imply rationality?

I know that God is soooooooooooo
great that we cant KNOW him completely... The best we can do is beleive in him from the perspective that we can...

Look at it this way...
Today after centuries of research we have still not been able to determine exactly what the universe is and how it began, when will the earth end..
We dont even know the exact amount of creatures that exist in water...
How can we "know" something unless we are completely or atleast mostly "knowledgable" of it. We can not understand him completely so the best we can do is beleive in him and what he tells us to do and what he tells us about himself :)
Gr8 question though. made my day.....

In order to survive religion had to "remove" the proof part of it which should speak volumes as to it's bogus nature. We are expected never-the-less to devote all of our everything to it without question and if we don't -it's hell for all eternity

From the beginning God wants our worship and thanks..he gave us gifts..why is it so hard to say thanks for the earth, the animals, the streams so full of fish, the pleasure we get from taking a breath or feeling the sun on our face?
He cannot let us see him..he is too powerful..we would burn in an instant. But through faith he wants us to follow his commands...then we get the blessing...and because he is so real to us we want to share the good news with others.

Faith is knowing......Knowing is believing....The good says faith comes by hearing and not site.....Hear the word of God, feel the word of God.....Realize that the only reason that you are sitting there typing on your computer today is because the God Almighty sought fit for you to wake up out of your bed this morning......

I think it's that god won't interfier with free will. it's the test to seperate the good from the bad. If you just showed up and was like "allright, allright, i do exist are ya all happy" then we would never be tested to see who is good and who's not

because there is no god wanting us believe. he does not exist. I relate to your question and your point of view. however, religious people won't agree with your logic. they are convinced that god talks to them, even though there is no one present.
