Take the NJT to Penn Station, NY. It's the easiest way and cheapest. Taxis cost too much to just go over the river. Go to www.NJtransit.com to see how much it'd cost. It's probably really cheap. When you get off at 34th (Penn Station) you're right in Midtown and can take the ABCDEFV 12 and some other trains to wherever your desitination is in NY. Get a map at the subway. Don't pay for one. The MTA gives one to you for free.
