It was an expensive lesson but at least you've learnt something.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A MEDIUM OR A PSYCHIC

The trick can only be done by "Hot Reading" i.e. having prior knowledge of you, or by "Cold Reading" i.e. taking guesses, playing the percentages, watching your reactions, and getting you to reveal the answers yourself.

It was an expensive lesson for you, but at least you've learnt how to expose these charlatans and you won't be scammed again.

a good medium or fortune teller??"

No, there isn't.
I think life is much easier and happier if we don't know what's waiting for us around the corner. Everything is fine (or looks like it) while the things that are expecting us in future are good, but do you know what happens when we realise we are going to lose job, someone close, get ill or something like that? We become obsessed with it, and at the end maybe fortune teller was wrong, and we'll never lose our job, but we lost nerves over it.
Forget about that and just live your life from day to day, every day has enough worry for itself.

the thing is
a good medium only gives spirit messages and does not tell your future
but this isnt always what people want
they want people to tell them how their lives are going to pan out .. and this is not even possible
but people pay the money anyway because they dont want to live their lives in suspense and want a quick fix
i dont mean to be rude in any way sorry
but there is a lot of misconceptions about what a good reading should be .. and a lot of people charging for a service that is required
now if you want a reading but are not expecting to be told about your future .. you may be pleasantly surprised by good mediums who will bring through your loved ones ...
and if you wish to do this , then spiritualist church is the best place to start where you can see the mediums working freely at services

you do not have to pay anyone who doesnt give you the service they are offering and there is a fruadulents mediums act which deals with anyone you feel is conning you

Well... your'e right. People lead the "teller" with their body language, and most people don't even relaize how much they give away. Many famous and amazing people will tell you so, i.e. David Copperfield, David Blaine, Chriss Angel.

Most mediums are fakes-especially when they charge for their services. The best reading I ever got was free at the local spiritualist church. He had names, told me I'd had medical tests and told me what the outcome would be,even described my grandfather's gravesite and mentioned that my name on the wreath had been misspelled. When I went to look at the photos of it when I got home, sure enough,my name had been misspelled. He was correct on everything.

People believe what they want to believe. Consider it a lesson learned and don't give any more money to people that make outrageous claims like that.

The only thing you gave away was your money. So don't believe the hype.
