What are some of your family traditions?

I, my husband and kids visit my parents home on Thanksgiving Day. We also, visit his parents on Thanksgiving Day. We make it a priority to be with our loved ones at this time of year because we don't always see each other throughout the year as we live in different towns and have jobs, etc. So, we catch up on Thanksgiving Day. We reminisce of days gone by. There is always good food and memories to last until we meet again. Happy Thanksgiving.

I am. My family is very close we get together once a month at a different family members house, just to have a good time, so at thanksgiving it is more special, we all gather at whoever is hosting for that year and really have a great time. Every family bring a dish, the host house is responsible for the turkey and stuffing, while the rest of us, bring the side dishes.
I hate when it's time for me to leave, it seems like they really start to party when I have to go. I work in retail, so I have to be at work for the 5:00am early bird shoppers the next morning.

I don't really like the holidays either, but i do like to get together with my family and friends and visit and see how everyone has been doing. Gifts are good too.=)

over thanxgiving weekend me and my mom and dad decorate the house for christmas. on thansgiving day we watch the parade on tv and cook the big meal. then we eat! we always have apple and pecan pie for desert, and turkey and mashed potatoes and stuffing and all that good stuff for the meal. mmm its making me hungry!
