Well, I'm an extreme left-wing liberal Atheist, and some of my BEST friends are extreme right-wing conservative Christians/Catholics.
It's pretty simple, we don't talk about it.
And if we do, we listen to each other's opinions and move on. We don't try to change each other's minds or disrespect our beliefs/non-beliefs.

I am not sure why you have thumbs down, a good question!
I do have many friends, most actually, that believe different than me. We have open frank discussions about why we believe what we agree and disagree with.
most of the time we start with, I love you and we can agree to disagree! Then we get into the debate.
from a christian, that most christians don't understand!!!
be blessed

I have several liberal friends, and several friends that don't share my religious beliefs. 3 of my best friends are atheists. I don't think our beliefs affect our friendship. We can civilly debate our beliefs, but it never gets in the way of anything. We respect each other's beliefs and don't try to change each other.

not in particular. we get along on other subjects and have different common grounds, but when politics shows it ugly face, we try to respect one another and just get our views across without pressing them on each other.
