have YOU ever approached a cute stranger to flirt/ask for his number, etc.? (as opposed to *being* approached.)

1) were you really scared?
2) got any tips? horror stories? any guy body language to watch for (& what it means)? anything to avoid?

Let him know that you might be interested? Yes!

I try to be "professional" (not the bad kind!) in my workplace, and hitting on customers is not ethical. However, if you treat them nice, they might be clued in and pick up on your signals. (Some guys just don't pick up very quickly - too bad)

I have spoken to and flirted with strangers, yes...I don't recall ever asking for a guy's number...

Was I scared? I'm a shy introvert, so yeah...I'm typically nervous/anxious when I approach people I do not know

Tips? None...if you are compelled, you just do it...be polite and smile

Horror stories? None, thankfully.

I would not approach a guy first, he has to make the first move, when he approaches i check out his walk, the way he is dressed and when he gets to me body odor is very important to me, then they open their mouth to speak, check out the teeth, voice and the line they use my favorite " i thought you were someone else" and proceeds to tell me who i look like, i am never scared it is always in public. Men love to strut their stuff so let them, be nice at the end of the conservation you will get the cell no., home no. and pager no. if they have one. I never give out my phone nos. to men i have just met and am doing fine.
