worst case you could get busted down that would depend though on his wife,you can`t make him trouble.
If you are in the military you both could be busted down that would depend on again his wife or if you work togetherwife or not you both would be busted.
if you are a military spouse you can loose your command sponsorship and be send home.
if you are a civ you can be by request of his wifethrough his command be forbitten to go on post again.
What are you doing sleeping with a married man and then get pregnant anyways?

It could screw up his career. But as a Top Kick (E-8) he has probably topped out and has his 20 years in. I imagine child support is about it once and if paternity is proven.

What were you looking for his chain of command do?

It has been a long time since I had to counsel troops as an XO and a commander in the army but if you are both in the military...conduct unbecoming, Article 15s come to mind for both of you.

Well, depending on the details of the situation he could be demoted (lose a stripe), called in for a chat with the CO, be placed on FMT or any combination of the above.

P.S. If you are in the military as well (as your earlier post indicated) you should probably try to control your libido especially around married men. You could also face punishment.

if you are a soldier, you could get into the same amount of trouble as the first sergeant. are you looking for money from him or a way to punish him? there really isn't any punishment under the ucmj concerning adultery. he can be punished under article 134 which is a catch all for acts that don't fall under anything else. i would contact your local JAG or legal office without giving any names and find out firsthand.

He could get in a lot of trouble. It would really depend on his commanding officers and his relationship with them. They could back him and keep it quiet. However if there is already tension between them, they could make life a lot harder for him.
