I agree with Badtz. When we say America we understand we are talking about the whole continent of America., not just Latin America.

Sólo en América. But in saying that, I would probably be understood to refer to Latin America. So, if I meant that small part known as the USA. I would say "Solo en Estados Unidos".

if you mean the U.S then it's..."sólo en los Estados Unidos" or "sólo en Estados Unidos"

if you mean only in America (the continent) it's..

"sólo en América" or "sólo en el continente americano"
