You can buy "backwards" clocks already - numbers go around the other ways - as do the hands.
So, if that because the new stanrd, then for convenience, i would buy a "backwards backwards clock" which as a novelty - would tell the time in the old way :)

i used to have a goofy watch that went backwards. took a little bit of time to get used to it. but after that it was no big deal.

I wouldn't have to worry. I don't really use them anyway. Besides, if everything went backward, then that'd be how it was supposed to go, which would mean it was going frontwards, and then your question would be obsolete.

if thats the way they had been running forever, i would probably wonder wat i would do if they all ran forwards. if they just all of a sudden went backwards, i would check ever single clock in my house, and then wonder if the end of the world is coming.
