He does have room for privicy. But in the space, he can have other girlfriends. Maybe not sexual, but other friends.
95 % of time when, I'm out to dinner or private time with a close friend or family member....I do turn my phone on silent or leave in the car. Personally, I do this out of respect for "our time". There are few reasons and very few people who need to keep a cell phone on 24 hours a day.
I have a friend that has usually 9 - 10 girls calling during a 4 pm to 11pm section of the day. Each day, every time we go on an outing, they call. So, he is usually texting, calling, or answering.

Listen darlin you must have some kind of gut feeling about this. You have to know deep down inside what the answer to your question really is. He is doing it for one of 2 reasons 1-He doesn't want his time with you interupted or 2-He is getting some on the side. Do me a favor and get the book "TEN STUPID THINGS WOMEN DO TO MESS UP THEIR LIVES" its by Dr. Laura Schlesinger. Read the book and take a good long look at yourself and your relationship. Most of all listen 2 your heart. Best Wishes, Kaci - fairytale447@yahoo.com

If you don't trust him, it has to be more then one phone call. Either you are over reacting to nothing or he is cheating. Either way, consider whether you really want to be in that relationship.
But if he is getting calls from women who hang up, and you want to confront him about it. Then you can look through the directory on his phone of calls made and received. If you see a repeated number and it matches the "wrong number" you know something is up. Repeated long calls are what you need to watch for.

First of all, it's hard to believe such a "good" girlfriend as yourself would answer his phone. It's his phone. Second, you could be jumping to conclusions. A female voice? Sister, aunt, friend, ex, who knows- he'll tell you if he really loves you. You're over reacting and he had every right to take it from you. You were both rude. Both of you should apologize and have a little faith in him if you really love him.

Personally it sounds like he doesnt want to be with you. There should be no reason that he has his phone on silent unless he is trying to hide something. And the way he hide the phone like that. I might want to try and find out what he is hiding in that phone

he could be cheating, but he could just want to have uninterrupted time with you. the chic could have just been the wrong number. she could have just been a friend that called to talk and when she heard your voice she didn't want to cause problems so she acted like she had the wrong number , and still he could be cheating on you. ask him. see how he reacts. watch his body language.

Ask him.
It could be that he doesn't want to be disturbed when he's with you.
It could be that he doesn't want you to know when other people call him.
We don't know him, so can't say for sure...but you can discuss it with him. If you don't have trust in him, the relationship isn't going to go far...so get this settled so you can move forward with him, or move on without him.

That explains everything right there, hes cheating. If I was you, i wouldnt go back to him, or go back to his house. let the other girl be with him, since, she most likely knew that you guys were in a relationship...
