Any ideas on good advertising for free/ cheap?

Question

I'm a registered childminder from Nuneaton, Warwickshire who has vacancies and I need to advertise somewhere but cash is a little short so needs to be fairly cheap. I'm going to do a flyer post through peoples letterboxes on Tuesday whilst taking the baby for a walk (theres multi tasking for you!). Any other ideas would be gratefully received. Cheers.

Put adverts in supermarkets and shop windows, and phone the papers in your area, they nay be able to help. Can you advertise at your local primary school, or in mother and baby groups in your area?

i was looking for cheap advertising for my other site recently and was looking for hours so i thought why not do your own site and onequidadverts was born. i know its a new site but it has been submitted to google and other popular websites and it has a baby sitting / nanny section to advertise in ads start from $1 (about 55p in uk currency) for 1 day $2 for 7 days.

Go to yahoo groups they're FREE!!! They have many groups for advertising,selling,etc...you just have to find the right ones! I have a children's items only group with around 600 members and a moms group so I know they're out there. Good Luck!!

I don't know about where you live, but here in the US it's illegal to just put stuff in people's mailboxes so just make sure you check that out before you do anything you might regret.

Maybe commercials on the radio? TV? Ad in a newspaper? I'm not sure how expensive those things are but I'm guessing an ad in the newspaper would be cheapest. Good luck though :-)

I as quickly as went to the mall, and there became into this clown making balloon animals for the youngsters, and as he did that, a woman surpassed out pamphlets, with it going on like that extra human beings took the pamphlets and positively examine it. Does your united states have in bathroom provides? they sometimes do not fee that lots and once you bypass to the lavatory, you not doing mush, which you would be able to besides examine it. maximum smart in females loos in huge department shops. Then human beings at Gyms are well being in contact, bypass to the gyms in the section and ask them in case you may bypass away some flyer's there. merely human beings fascinated will take them, so there wont be a great purchase landing in the bin with out even being examine.

put your fliers up in local doctors clinics etc also mother and toddler groups most places will let you do this a we jus opened a children's centre and that how we advertised and yes in the UK sadly anyone can post things through your letter box so no worries there good luck hope all goes well xx

Putting an ad in a church bulletin is the cheapest form of advertising- also let your mothers know you have a vacancy- word of mouth is great!
