I feel where you are coming from. I'm in the same situation myself but I do know that there are some nice, intelligent and single females still left in this world but with everything going on in todays society, it makes things very hard to really "find her" or know that she is the one whenever she "finds you"....
My advice, just be patient, continue being a cool person. Whenever you come in contact with a female just let her know that you are a cool dude looking for a cool girl :-)

You may be do not know exactly what you want in a woman, character-wise, physical-wise etc. Write down what you want in a woman (be rasional though to your own standard) and you could meet her when you not expected. Also not only that, you need to prepare yourselves when you meet her, if you are ready to take, what do you have to give ? if you want the best, you need to be the best yourselves. havent been in the right spot at the right time? get out there and meet women i know many people who have made connections though speed dating one of my friends just got married and thats how she meet her husband. ask friends if they know someone who would be good for you? get out there and explore, good luck you will find someone...no worries
