Acts 4:11-13

11He is (Jesus)
" 'the stone you builders rejected,
which has become the capstone.[a]'[b] 12Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

It's not to be interpreted in the way anyone or everyone thinks. It means exactly what it says.

The builders rejected Jesus, the capstone. Therefore, they rejected salvation, because it is impossible to be saved any other way except through Jesus.

If there is a God and if he is the author of the bible, isn't he smart enough to say what he means and to mean what he says?

I am wiccan myself and believe all paths lead to Deity, but that is not what the bible says.

I spent 30 years studying the bible and 25 as a Christian, and I always found it odd that people try to intrepret what the bible says, when I think it is plain what it says.

Just take it for what it says.

this verse concerned the Jews but especially the Jewish authorities and because of the language used it was easily understood by those who rejected Jesus who is the corner stone of God`s kingdom on earth, on which the new and everlasting House of God( His true worshipers) will stand.

To me, I feel it means Jesus is the only way to salvation. No matter how "nice" we are, if we try to get to God other than through the name of Jesus, it cannot be done.

This is my humble opinion. Ask your own spirit what it means if this verse has been directed to you.

Thanks for your question, hope I helped

Many have confused Jesus for Christ. Christ which acted through him is the Savior. Let no image come before the Lord thy God, even the image of Jesus. The world has rejected Christ, not understanding it. Things are not as they appear to be.
