completely ignore them or is it better to confront them about their lies and deception? This person "pretended" to be my best friend then abandoned (not literally, but mentally/emotionally etc) me when I needed her most. I want to "stick it" to her.

The best revenge is to live a happy, fulfilled life. If you keep anger in your heart, it will hurt you far more than hurting your "friend". If they walked when you needed them the most...then they were not truly your friend to begin with. Move on and find some friends that you know you can count on. Be happy and in the end you will have gotten your "revenge".

People with Narcissistic personalities usually have something within themselves that they are hiding, it could be a fear of rejection, so they put on a huge act of self confidence and bravado, to the point of sometimes hurting others. You really shouldn't try to hurt anyone, whether they are narcissistic or not. Be a better person than that, rise above it all and be proud of who YOU are. One day you will feel so much better knowing that you didn't hurt her

still keep being their friends afterall narcissts still need friends but do not let that part of them get to you or bother u, they still have qualities that attracted you after all, look for their good points and try to focus on that, they may be immature in their perspective and having a good friend like you to stick by them may show them the error of their ways eventually

Laugh or snicker at them every time they display their narcissism. The Narcissus thinks they are God's gift & need to feel big & bad. Let them know how ridiculas you think they are - especially in front of others!
