Some banks are set up to do this and some are not.
Your bank should tell you.
IMHO it is no different than sending a check.

That depends on the company. Some do and Some are working on this. When there is more demand from people. It may be available for everyone some day. In the U.S. some phone, electric, and other companies are taking atm/debit cards with either the Star or Nyce logo. Some banks charge you a fee for running it as a Star or Nyce transactions.

Its usually easier to just use your checking account #. Most credit card issuers will let you pay online though their website or over the phone. Some charge a fee for 'check by phone'. Your bank probably allows you to schedlue a payment from their website as well. You should allow a few days for payments initiated by your bank to clear. The may actually mail a check to the credit card company.

Yes, you can pay off a credit card with a debit, as long as you have enough money in the bank to cover it! "Tip" always pay your credit card in full, that way you will never pay interest on it!

you would use you checking account to pay for the credit card, the checking account is linked to the debit card so they are really one in the same.

It depends how large the bill is. You can only use your debit card for $1000 of transaction per day. So, if your bill is $1500, you re SOL.

I don't see why not....it's cash you already have. And if there's a problem, obviously you have a bank account...write a check! Or get a money order, it's faster!
