A smile is the best way to start and from there a casual hello! I guess you are afraid of rejection like the rest of us - so play it by ear!

If she smiles back at you and makes lots of eye contact and returns your hello - then you will be able to take it from there - if she doesn't you have two option!

1) Take it that she is not interested

2) Keep trying sometimes a woman likes the chase

Read her body language.....

Ask about the book she is reading, comment on the weather, if you are brave ask her for her number! Your options are limitless.

If you don't try you'll never know - the worst that could happen is that she could bounce you!

Girls are not that bad......really!

There's no need for a 'pick-up line'. Just smile and make a comment about something around you. It doesn't need to be original, just something that everyone recognises as a 'conversation starter', followed by an easy casual question, such as 'lovely weather, isn't it?' 'I think I've seen you before, do you always take this train?'.

Ask a few more who/what/when/where/why, rather than yes/no, sort of questions to find out more about her. Keep the mood chatty and positive. Don't try to impress her, just talk about her favorite everyday things - music, movies, food, vacations, etc. Don't say anything negative or odd that might ruin the mood. If things go well and she's smiling and looking interested in you, try to get her phone number or offer her yours. Call her the next day, don't delay.

Sometimes a simple "hello", or a warm, friendly smile to her is a good way to start. If she's reading the paper or a book, you could ask her some general questions about that. If she's friendly and interested in talking to you, then she'll engage in some friendly conversation. If she is not interested, or just wants to spend some quiet time alone, then her facial expressions and general nonverbals will let you know that.

Just be friendly say like "Hey whats up?" If you see that she has a book say what are you reading? Just try to start a conversation with what's around you. Be yourself and have fun, once you start a conversation girls know how to keep it going. Best of Luck!

SMILE !!

And say or ask something nice about her. "Where'd you get those cool sunglasses?" Something like ZZ Top might say (what really knocked him out...)
