Kobe Beef tastes very good because the cows there are fed Sake and they find it somewhat makes the meat tenderize and they rub Sake on the cows because they think it makes the meat taste even better. They mostly feed the cow grass that has been flavored with Sake. That's what I have seen from Food Network :D. But this is what I think why Kobe beef is soo good. Because its just really good.

the cattle are treated with the greatest repect and are even given daily massage to keep the meat tender.
the meat has a soft marbled texture
it is quite fatty but most of the fat melts away when cooked...do not overcook...
to make a burger out of it is almost a crime
