1/3rd is .333
1/4th is .25
1/8th is .125

So what you do is measure 1/4th and set it aside, measure another 1/4th and *carefully* split down the middle and sweep the excess off. This will give you .375 which is awfully close.

1/3 is just a bit more than 1/4 but less than 1/2. So just use a little more than 1/4. The recipe isnt gonna flop from using a bit much or a bit less than what is called for.
5 Tablespoons+ 1 teaspoon will be exact for 1/3 cup
