This has application even in our day as well for Jesus said to love your enemies and pray for then, not to go and kill them. God's word says obedience is better than sacrifice, so why do you not obey Him? Titus 1:16 says: They publicly declare they know God, but they disown Him by their works, because they are detestable and DISOBEDIENT and NOT APPROVED for good work of any sort. Why do your priests and clergy bless the war machines of their nations? Steve T God had a right to have the Israelites displace wicked nations, all his judgments are righteous, yet in our day he had his Son teach total peace, the clergy bless the war machines in their nations making the religions blood guilty as God did not declare the wars but governments did and the religions make themselves part of the world by being involved in the bloodshed.

I fully agree with you. One of the marks of a christian the apostle John mentions in his forst letter is, that a christian loves his brother. How can a so called "christian" nation bombard a nother nation, when it must think that other christians will live there? This is a contradiction in itself. Nobody, who is a real born again christian can vote for war.

War is declared by governments not individual Christians. There has always been war and always will be. The individual decides whether or not to join the military and fight.
You do err not understanding scripture. Read the Ol Testement and you will see God commanded not only war, but the killing of innocent women and children and even cattle.

Some of the soldiers of Jesus day were converted and not one was compelled to leave their duty as a soldier. Israel was commanded to make war and even when they were rebuilding the Temple they did it with one hand on their sword. The Prophecy's' you refer to are the time of Jesus return and then and not till then there will be war.

If you knew your word, you'd know that many people will deceive others claiming they are of od, when they obviously aren't. Christians (the REAL ones), are opposed to war. So, before you start stereotyping all of us "Christians" as being disobedient, you should get all the facts.
