hi, it depends on how much money you have to spend first bearing in mind you will have other family members who may want that much spent on them...secondly i would think about what he needs and uses the most...will a phone come in handy so you will know where he is and if he is safe...or does he play football every day and boots will be a better option...personally i would buy a phone maybe a cheaper one but it would set my mind at rest knowing we could contact each other in an emergency...good luck and i hope he appreciates what ever you decide...

Football boots. A phone does not get you fit and costs more money in the long run.

Football boots will give him exersise, a phone is just an opportunity for him to act like some moron talking about nothing like all the other morons with phones. Plus, some say phones cause brain cancer, plus, phone will continue to cost for usage fees, plus phone is 20 more expensive.

Phone. He'll grow out of the boots, either physically or he'll just lose interest in the sport (he could also get hurt) The phone would be a better choice IMO.

I would get him the football boots, because then if he runs up a huge bill on the phone you would end of footing the bill.

well i think the football boots would be better,they will last him a lot longer than the phone,they easily lost,stolen or very easily get broke.

i think that you should buy him both.
If not buy the phone. I spent £130 on my ex'z football boots 3 weeks later they were ruined.
