One, but I dont think anyone enforces it. Obviously two is just wasteful of the worlds resources.

Just one space after the full stop. But if you are using an old typewriter, then two spaces after the full stop will look better.

One area is genuine. 2 areas replaced into taught in elementary terms for typewriters, the place all characters are an identical length. It made it much less complicated for the reader to tell apart the sentences. many people nevertheless use 2 areas as we talk on account that's what they have been taught, and have taught others an identical element. although, with maximum be conscious processing classes those days, all characters are of distinctive widths. One area is all it is important. while 2 areas are used, the sentences look lots too an prolonged way aside. professional typographers have continuously used in elementary terms one area, even till now typewriters have been invented.

Two spaces after each fullstop, that is you should press the space bar twice then the next sentence should start where the cursor settles after the second press of the space bar. Hope this helps.

Prior to the advent of computers and word processing programs, the rule was two spaces after ending punctuation. Now the rule is only one space after sentence ending punctuation.

Generally one, that's what was taught to myself and fellow students at university, although I've known people to leave two spaces. Don't think there's a general rule but one wuold be the natural choice
