For those of you (DARS) confused about the term "the wall", it can also be called a fence, a barrier, or something to that effect, I am going by what many refer it to be which is a "wall," so sorry for confusing you.

build the wall, trespassers to be shot on site, and let the deportations begin, oh yeah, and send Mexico a big freaking bill for all the money we have shelled out supporting their citizens.

Illegal immigration - no thank you. That type of immigration into our country is NOT something we need, nor should we accept it, from ANY country!
Amnesty - NO THANK YOU! Been there, done that. It was a slap in our face, by our government.
I'm not sure I honestly care for the wall, but I do agree something there should be done.
Border patrol - beef it up, and allow these people to do things the way they need to be done. Don't allow an illegal to turn around and sue them for a job well done! (You all have heard about the border patrol who had shot an illegal in the rear, and was he himself was arrested, and put in prison, because the illegal was allowed to demand his rights and sued.)

If any of us were to trespass on anyones land, knowingly or not, we would be fined, if not shot. If we went to another country, as the illegals are doing to us, we'd be thrown in jail.

USA! USA! USA!

If our country doesn't do what's right, will it's people..
I fear that just may happen.

I have a lot of experience with the issue since I have lived in each border state besides New Mexico and am an immigrant from Mexico myself. I have family members also who are illegals. Putting all emotions and personal ties aside, when I think rationally and logically about the debate, and examine all evidence I can get my hands on, I come to a conclusion about it that has not changed for a long time.

Every country in the world cannot allow every single person who wants to come there do so. No country has entirely open borders to the point where a person can march in and say "I'm a citizen" and have it suddenly be so. One thing that both sides need to examine is the reasoning behind having immigration quotas. Why? Countries do not want to be overpopulated. They want to know who is coming into their country. Ever since 9/11, America has to secure our nation in unprecedented ways.

Illegal immigration is not a victimless crime. Though both sides of the debate are filled with emotion, the startling reality is that it has dramatically increased crime rate, incidence of diseases, while lowering wages to make for an unfair job market. Legal citizens cannot compete with unrealistically low wages paid to illegals. Classrooms, which are required to teach illegals and their children in elementary and high school, are getting fuller and fuller and anyone with an education background knows that small classroom sizes are optimum.

Legalization. It would be unrealistic to deport every single illegal, we couldn't find them all. I think that it should be handled at a local level. If a police officer happens to arrest or fine an illegal, follow the law and deport them. THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE. That bears repeating. NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE!!!!!! I do not believe in amnesty, but perhaps for people who have been here many years and made sizable contributions to society.

Wall? Yes. Border patrol are doing their jobs.

Why do you keep calling it 'the wall' when we all know it is sporadic stretches of fencing in urban areas?

It makes it sound like you have a particular agenda.

Illegal immigration is ruining our children's futures by ruining their schools. TODAY the schools are failing in areas where illegals concentrate, and programs are cancelled for our own children to fund ESL programs to an extent far beyond what would be necessary to fund programs for those legally here.

Immigration of poor people is limited because poor people do not make enough money to pay to educate their children through taxes, or for any of the other services poor people and their children use. Since they shouldn't be here to be having children, to exclude the impacts of US born children is disingenuous.

Their better life is at our expense, and our children, sick and poor are paying the biggest price.

there is plenty about Reagan worship that doesn't make experience. a million) The amnesty you pronounced. (besides the undeniable fact that that is easily worth pointing out it replaced into meant to be a "one time" deal and then the regulation might want to be enforced............obvioussly both activities skipped over this second area) 2) The federal "warfare on drugs" is between the biggest nanny/police state courses contained in the heritage of the U.S. (in the back of the dep.. of position of beginning protection). those variety of similar people b*tching about the authorities being too enormous and the authorities limiting human being freedom love the guy who took federal overreach into overdrive. 3) Iran/Contra. heavily, i do not care what else he did as president. This replaced into bullsh*t. (For obtrusive motives, then of route the truth he replaced into telling childrens to "purely say no".........fking hypocrite)

Living in Arizona my opinion is that as soon as they cross the border they become target practice for the border patrol. Those that are here should have done what Mexico does with their illegals. felony and 5 years of hard labor at which time you are deported.

I find it unbelivable the Mexico will ask the U.S. to take in their trash but anyone who thinks Mexico is a better life is a felon

No immigration, no amnesty, no wall. Increase patrols with the military and use land mines.
