I am not too sure, but I think what he can do depends on the situation that made him come here. All I can tell you is he should contact Immigration Advisory Service and Citizen's Advisory Bureau as soon as he gets here. Both of them know how they can help illegal immigrants and asylum seekers, so I hope they'll be helpful. But it will be a long battle. Good luck.

Apply to the Home office in London. But he should have done it al legal before he came. So more than likely they throw him out.

claim asylum and then it will take 10 years to process him/her ,in which time your friend probably will have had kids and the whole process will have been a waste of time as your entitled to stay .what a bullshit system but if i was your friend i would move as far away from the west as he can unless he wants to become a slave like the rest of the western people and yes i am a white englishman .
