Good question! Everyone has a preference. I am a professional Chocolatier and the best way for me to answer this is simply to say all chocolate is great.
Chocolate whether in milk, dark or white has special attributes especially when mixed with other items. For instance....
Milk Chocolate is best when mixed with nuts sour fruits. That's because it will pull down the bitterness/sourness of the item you mix with the chocolate and the milk chocolate will give it that sweet kick.
Dark Chocolate on the other hand works in the very opposite of milk chocolate. Dark Chocolate is well with more sweeter ingredients. It allows you to taste the sweetness of the item like a cookies, krispie treats, marshmallows, dried fruits(which are sweeter when dried), and other sweet items. Very good in it's own class.
Now for the not so popular white chocolate. White Chocolate is unusual and often deters people. Some people who don't like the decadence of Milk often think that White is better and not so rich. But in fact the White Chocolate route is actually just as sweet if not sweeter. White Chocolate is best served with spicy foods. Such as gingerbread cookies, cinnamon based items, nutmeg and other familiar spices. This is because the spices actually bring out the best in white chocolate. Usually when just tasting white chocolate alone often gives you a buttery taste or something you don't really think as chocolatey. But if you pair it with the right item, it's delicious! Also great with raspberries.
As my own personal preference, I can't decide because each chocolate makes a great pair with another. I love all forms of chocolate because they truly have their own special character.
Always remember though, you may prefer one over another, but perhaps you just haven't had the right kind of milk, dark or white chocolate. So many brands and processes can really effect the taste of the chocolate. So you may love milk from one company, dark from another company and white from another as well.
Hope you find a treasure in each one!

I'm strange I don't like white chocolate, cause its just sugar and cocoa butter and I don't like dark chocolate because its too bitter, but I love milk chocolate more then I love certain family members and could eat and drink it all day.

Bittersweet chocolate is my favorite. Honestly, when I crave chocolate, I will even eat a bit of bakers chocolate (yuck)...but it does the trick calming a sleep disturbing craving. Anyway, Bittersweet chocolate is my favorite. Some chocolate treats I love.. Old fashioned hot chocolate, made on the stove, with milk, sugar, and hersheys cocoa, also chocolate souffle, a rare treat. Decleor makes a heavenly store bought chocolate ...you can get it at Neiman Marcus.
