These religions are a result of human beings trying to explain the things which defy explanation, as well as everything else.
Who am I? Who are you? What is this around us? Where are we? Where did we come from? Where are we going?
Why???!!! Why not?
How do these things happen?
Did Jesus intend to start Christianity? Or did his Apostles and Saints build it, based on his teachings?
Mohamed seems to have intended to establish a new world order.
The Hindu religion is an amalgam of many different cults. Some of it is united in the Upanishads, including the Bhagavad-Gita.
Buddhism started with Prince Gautama finding himself in both a rite of passage and a confrontation with the uglier realities of existance. To find answers to the questions which arose, he left the palace of his family and began a quest which would lead to his gaining Enlightenment, and realizing the mission of his life and existence. So in a very simple sense, Buddhism is not a religion, it's a philosophy.
Others have created a blend of their own tendency to worship, with Buddhism. Even some of the stricter religions, such as Calvinist Christianity and Shia Islam, have created their false gods, whether they be money or earthly imams, the pain of self-torture, and hate.

Well I know that from the very specks of the first civilizations people have had a fundamental knowledge or desire for knowledge about a higher power. They have worshipped things for various reasons and knew that there was something out there bigger than they were. The bible in its earliest form was a collection of oral traditions handed down from family to family and eventually it was written down. This old testament was the basis for part of christianity and Judaism. Thats all I can tell you, but I do know that most of the creation stories from different cultures have eerily common threads i.e. the creation story from the bahgavad gita vs. genesis.

thats a very interesting question. glad you asked, but hope u understand my answer, cuz its the truth. allah made 3 main religions and the rest are all human made. the 3 main religions are juadism, christianity, and last and final isalm. these are allah's (god) religions. and they allah believe in him, while the other religions believe in idols or no god. juadism came first and when peole started abusing it and not following it right allah sent christianity and when people did the same he sent islam. these 3 religions are very similar but its people who diffrenciated them. for example if u look at the actual pictures of women from these religions ull notice they all cover from head to toe leaving only their face and hands (except muslim women who cover their face as well).
*note* allah means god. if u were a christian born in egypt you wouldnt use the word god, but allah. so for ppl who say anything bad about allah just think about it your talking about god/lord in general.

Sorry, but there are no answers for this one - it was all way too far back. It would never have been just one person anyway, probably a group of people.
If anyone tells you that Jesus created Christianity, ignore them. It's not true in the slightest.

Well, it is different for people who are not of the Scriptures.
But for the People of the Book, we are all descendent's of Abraham. Who worshiped God alone, and did not associate partners with him.
Moses, brought the message to the Children of Israel, to believe in one God, they did, but a majority of them when corrupt.
Jesus, also brought the oneness of God, to humanity, but the truth of his story has also been corrupted.
Finally, The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), was the last and final messenger of God, who brought guidance to all mankind. The Qu'ran has been unchanged in 1400+ years with 2 of the 7 originals still existing.
003:062] Verily, this is the true narrative [about the story of 'Îsâ (Jesus)], and Lâ ilâha illallâh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh, the One and the Only True God, Who has neither a wife nor a son). And indeed, Allâh is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
[003:063] And if they turn away (and do not accept these true proofs and evidences), then surely, Allâh is All-Aware of those who do mischief.
[003:064] Say (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]): "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allâh (Alone), and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allâh." Then, if they turn away, say: "Bear witness that we are Muslims."
[003:065] O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you dispute about Ibrâhîm (Abraham), while the Taurât (Torah) and the Injîl (Gospel) were not revealed till after him? Have you then no sense?
[003:066] Verily, you are those who have disputed about that of which you have knowledge. Why do you then dispute concerning that of which you have no knowledge? It is Allâh Who knows, and you know not.
[003:067] Ibrâhîm (Abraham) was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim Hanîfa (Islâmic Monotheism – to worship none but Allâh Alone) and he was not of Al-Mushrikûn (See V.2:105).
[003:068] Verily, among mankind who have the best claim to Ibrâhîm (Abraham) are those who followed him, and this Prophet (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) and those who have believed (Muslims). And Allâh is the Walî (Protector and Helper) of the believers.
[003:069] A party of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) wish to lead you astray. But they shall not lead astray anyone except themselves, and they perceive not.
[003:070] "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you disbelieve in the Ayât of Allâh, [the Verses about Prophet Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] present in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injîl (Gospel)] while you (yourselves) bear witness (to their truth)."
