Sorry to hear...it takes time tho. Hopefully you have close family and friends to help you thru...but please don't start another relationship to help you get over the hurt because it's not fair to the newcomer. Once you're all healed, the newcomer is kicked to the curb...hurt and broken. Give yourself time...cultivate interests and hobbies...Reflect on the good times and remember God is in control and He knows what's best for you.
May the spirit of the Lord comfort you during this season.

Only you can answer that. It doesnt matter what anybody else says. It is what you feel and your happieness that counts. Seeing as you are asking this question (and I am guessing that you have found someone else who makes you happy) either you are concerned about what other people & friends are saying or really you are not ready to move on from your fiancee.

When my fiancee passed away 5 years ago, I was not necessarily unwilling to date for 3 years, I was just unable to. Emotional attachment, I suppose.
Then again, my mother re-married within a month of my father's death.
Bottom line: There are different stages of grief, but there is no timeline for grief. It could be one week, one month, one year, etc. It's cliche, but you "just know" when the time has come. Different strokes for different folks.
Best of luck.

Give your heart time to heal before getting in serious relationships, you may think you're ready then you get too committed and start going through depression or thoughts of your fiance.
Good luck.

I would give yourself a bout a year to mourn, to collect yourself, and not go on the rebound.
I am sorry that he died though.
If you went out and found someone right now, it wouldn't be fair to either one of you. You are still getting over the loss of someone very close to you. Don't rush it.

The very next day. Your fiancee wants you to be happy. Fall in love when you're ready.

It's never too soon. You should feel guilty if you fall in love again very quickly, but it's never too soon.

It's never too soon if you feel the love. Love is not a choice. If you have another special lady, go with it.
