i ran into this guy about 8 months ago and we really hit it off,i was still bitter about catching my ex cheating,he listened and understood(they r mutual friends)he drove me home that night and i invited him to stay,i asked him to sleep in the bed with me,he did,i asked him to put his arm around me,he did till i slept,he was such a gentleman, things were awkward when he left the next morning,a mutual friend told me he liked me but was freaked about my ex(who still wants me back)he called my brother(who is best friends with my ex)to apologize for spending the night with me and swore that nothing had happened.i ran into this guy about two months after that night and he came to me and said"your killing me"my ex was also there and upset that we liked eachother.i thought of this guy ever since.I saw him again at a party 6 months later(a couple weeks ago)and when he walked in he saw me and looked away.Did he not want me there? What happened to me "killing" him?I still think about him.

Sure there is still something there and that is the problem. A friend does not date his friend’s ex, especially if the ex wants you back! It just is not done; it makes for an awkward friendship. No one is going to believe that nothing happened between you and the man you like. Of course they are thinking you and he had sex. When he said you were killing him he was referring to the fact that he likes you but knows that the relationship can never be. It hurts to be around someone that you like and know that you can never have. How old are you, you are acting like you know about as much as a 12 year old. Grow up and face the facts that this will not work out and you need to move on and so does he. Next time you get married be sure you are compatible with your mate and there is true love on both sides.♀
