"Fecking jews they start all the wars"

Or something similar to that.

mel gibson insults everybody. i'm surprised it took him so long to get to the jews, actually. he thinks his own wife is going to hell, you know. because she anglican, not catholic like he is, and he believes all non-catholics go to hell. this is seriously what he said:

"There is no salvation for those outside the Church; I believe it. My wife is a saint. She's a much better person than I am. Honestly. ... She prays, she believes in God, she knows Jesus, she believes in that stuff. And it's just not fair that she doesn't make it; she's better than I am. But that is a pronouncement from the chair. I go with it.”

he is constantly spreading homophobic garbage too, and when they asked for an apology, he said in an interview: "i'll apologize when hell freezes over. they can f*** off." of course all of his homophobic comments and his refusal to make an apology hurt his public image and so he eventually hosted a seminar with a ga y rights organization to show that really there were no hard feelings.

he has also been widely accused of hating the british, oddly enough, because of they way they are always portrayed in the movies he directs. he constantly says hateful things about anybody who criticizes him. some guy simply said that the passion of the christ would inflame antisemitism, and mel gibson said he wanted the guy's intestines on a stick and to kill his dog.

and now he has gotten around to expressing his hatred of jews... its no real surprise though, since he's probably run out of evil things he can say about the non-catholics, the british, and the gays. mel gibson is a racist, prejudiced scumbag.

He made a terrible statement in which he claimed that Jews were responsible for all of the wars in the world. But he was drunk, and the arresting officer was Jewish. In fairness, most people say horrible things to those who try to help them when they are drunk. Pesonally, I will continue to watch Mel Gibson's movies. You can't defend what he did, but as a Christian with Jewish family, I have no business holding a grudge. Strangely, most of the conflict that occurs today are the result of fanatical Muslims so how anyone can arrive at such a stance on Jewish people is strange. If Israel is ever in a war, it is in response to the onslaught of Islamo-fascists.

He said, "Jews start all the wars in the world!" He was drunk when he said it. Later he apologised, but the Jews weren't satisfied with the apology and continued to attack him. Mel might as well have spared himself the self-abasement which his apology entailed.

In fact, though Mel's drunken statement was incorrect. Jews don't start all the wars in the world. But they do help get most of them started. If Mel had said this:

"Jews are preponderant amongst the instigators of most of the world's major wars."

...then he'd have been exactly correct.

That Jews are responsible for all of history's wars. Mel Gibson isn't just drunk, he's also an idiot.

He made some awful statement, in his roaring drunken state, that the Jews were responsible for all of the wars in the world. That may not be exactly correct, but that was the gist of it. No apologies will ever fix what he said in my book, and I am not Jewish.

I'm a jew. I would like to go on record that I haven't started any wars. Personally. My fan club may have gotten carried away, however.

He just expressed his opinion like the so many others who state their opinion and connect terrorism with Islam & Muslims.

Why was it ok for Bush, but not for Gibson?
