I am wondering... what are the ettiquettes of being a lady... I love it when you are at a restaurant and a lady comes in and all the gentlemen stand up. please. if you know of any "lady ettiquettes" like for example: ladies should not say bad words... etc etc etc. it would be really helpfull. THANK YOU !

A lady carries her self with class and good taste. She is pleasent and polite. It is not hard to be a lady..it is really about having respect for yoursef, and for others as well.

See if your public library has any of the publications by Debrett's on etiquette. Debrett is one the arbiters of good manners, and has a brand-new book out especially aimed at young women called 'Etiquette for Girls'.

I would say some good manners for anyone are to avoid being loud, dressing like a tart, using foul language, and using a mobile phone in inappropriate situations. This morning at a Remembrance Sunday service I was appalled by a cretin talking into his mobile during the hymn.

I think the most beautiful aspect of a woman is her warmth...her vulnerability...her sweetness that so many women have lost...they think they are too good for most people...just be yourself...the rest should come easily...
