sub jun TI vo

In spanish, if a word does not have a written accent and ends in a vowel, "n", or "s," the second to last syllable is accentuated. If a word ends in a constanant, witht e exception of "n" and "s," the last syllable is accentuated. If a word breaks these rules, there should be a written accent mark above the accentuated syllable.

Question words always have accents and there are a few one-syllable words that just have accents.

Hope this helped!

"ti".
Spanish pronunciation rule- the syllable to be accentuated in the order of precedence:
- has an accent over it (Lección, árbol)
- last syllable if the word ends with a consonant other than an s or an n (amor, hablar, vivir)
- syllable next to last in all other cases (subjuntivo, amante, habla, hablas, hablan)

Watch out for verbs that are followed by object pronouns.
dámelo=give it to me (verb dar=to give)
An accent is put over da because without it, "me" would be stressed but that would be wrong because the verb MUST receive the stress.

And the Spanish girl says it is in "u"? she knows almost no english.. and.. by her answer... almost no Spanish either!!!
The word "subjuntivo" has no accent mark. The stress falls in the -ti- syllable.
Someone said it is "átona". Another one with lack of knowledge.
