don't do an all over color (unless you are grey at 27). do hilites with color. less damaging and more easily changed.
depending on your skin color any reds should look good and blend well with your natural color.
remember, your hair will naturally 'pull' red so an ash color will bring out more of a neutral honey-carmel color.

I think that you should look at the different flags of the nations of africa and pick one you like then color your hair to match that flag.
Or better yet, don't let other people tell you what color your hair should be.

Try dye ur hair to dark blond mix with light brown. Pretty sure I'll be in the middle attention (I tried it before, so it will definitely come out REALLY COOL.

I would go with a Orangish Red Blonde...there's a American African that I know personbally and she had her hair straightened anc cut short and dyed and it looks great~!

keep your base color and get honey highlights or color you hair a little lighter with a bronze tint.
