Doing the work, as long as it gets done and you're doing well its fine. That was my motto in school anyways lol. Unfortunately it takes a lot of discipline to do the work afterwards lol.

SHOWING UP!!!!! I remember skipping class to finish homework, only to find out that the assignment had been cancelled or changed. Besides, there are some instructors who tell you things in class that never come up in homework, but they're still important concepts.

from personal experience: Show up to class!
it's really hectic to try to catch up later, and definately not worth it
or you could just split the work if you can, make it as easy on yourself as possible
