and trusting individual. Lies on big things.....not small things....but to maintain the holy facsade they have created round them. Therefore destroying the persons belief in the church.

because they live in there own little world, and probably believe the lie they say to some extent. your belief in the church may be destroyed but thats not the same as your belief in god surely? and you dont need to go to church to show that, isnt it more about living your life in a way you see fit with morals and principles that count? i dont believe in god personally, but i do live my life according to my morals and can look myself in the mirror every day knowing i do. but you shouldnt let anyone destroy your belief in god.

are you asking why Christians are two-faced, or why they lie or something?
I have to say I agree with you to a certain extent - there are a lot of people out there who have given the church a bad name, and who have put a lot of people off the concept of religion. but i promise you, we're not all like that! Christianity brings with it an amazing security, knowing that whatever happens, we never have to face anything alone.
Christians still lie, and still make mistakes, and we never claim otherwise; we're only human - we all stuff up from time to time. but the difference is that we are forgiven for it, and we strive to do better.

Well friend,i am close to god or try to be but in time of needs that is when he is carrying you.This life is full of ups and downs so we have to take the bad to appreciate the good or visa versa.Some go quietly through life others let there self be heard,we are all different and that is why we are all a work of art xxxxxxxxxxx

Human nature! There's no one on the planet who's above the age of 6 years old who has never ever lied! If they say they've never lied - they're lying! Get used to it! That's life!

Are you talking about, like, the prominent pastors caught in sex scandals? Preachers and all other people have many sides, and they most put forth the side that they want others to see. Perhaps we should pray for the hypocrites as just one more kind of sinner, and be wise as serpents knowing that behind a truth there might be a lie, but behind the lie there might be a truth.
