fighting (ok read on). Figuratively speaking, fighting over scraps like hungry dogs. I've seen answers to questions like, God will never lie, and someone else will say, yes god would, but Allah would never. Are these 2 religions fighting over what is left of the "lost" population? I hear the holy war bell ringing.

don't judge the masses by a few who rant.

Whoever posted the question you refer to (or the answer)was obviously a child.
One of the very few things Islam and Christianity have in common is that Allah is God and God is Allah.
Apart from that they don't have a lot in common, except they are both certainly childish.
I was about to go into a little 'rant and rave', here about all religions, but I've had my full quota of violations based on religion this week. Maybe next time?

Dont judge a religon by what its followers tell you...read a book by a scholar or a lecture by a scholar to get a good idea....fighting or War occurs over a dispute, where as Manipulation of the truth happens when there is fear that people wont listen to what you say anymore unless you degrade the other religon to get your message across...Which is what is happening to day when every prominent figure (puppet) is trying to associate terrorism and hatred with religons who are far from it example Islam...Does Bush, The Pope, Danish cartoons ring a bell?...you cant expect tolerance and humility if you toy with peoples beliefs......

Christianity and islam are both about childish mafia gangs which inculcate violence and it results in killing among "childish" adults. They are not about actual spiritual thinking on God or the concept of it but about mobilising masses in the name of the one god against another mass of people. Nothing spiritual about them whatsoever! They always need a "satan" or a "shaitan" to blame for their shortcomings!

these are religious controvercies.well fighting is not fine.but some ignorant peoples insult some one religion and fight starts..but sometimes these discusions are informative as well.so i like that aspect of these discusions
