i have recently started going out with this guy. he is sweet and kind but he has a rep as a "player". then last night he started trying to get with this other girl right in front of me. his friend then said im dumped but he said that im not (i'd rather believe him) not i found he wants to get with one of my friends- my other mates told him no because he is going out with me... should i dump him or should i give him a chance - we do get on well, its just what he is like when it come's to other girls. also could i try and make him realise that its not fair what he is doing. thanx for helping

The fact that you're asking advice shows you know your first thought to be the correct one ... that you should dump his immature behind firmly in the gutter where it belongs.
Lots of guys eye up other girls, and we girls do it to them too (whether we are all attached or not). But to do it right in front of you? And in public too?! He needs a good slap! He's behaving like he has no manners and no idea how to treat a girlfriend. Either that, or he really doesn't care if you stay with him or not.
It could be that he's essentially a "sweet and kind" guy deep down, but he's obviously created a "rep" that he wants to keep. If behaving badly towards you in public keeps up his end with his friends, and makes him feel like a "big man" then that's his mindset and its going to take a lot of effort from you to make him see any different.

If you do decide to stick with him, all I can say is ... protect your heart. Guaranteed, he's going to hurt you again.

Not to sound harsh, but if he's been trying to pick up other girls, especially in front of you, he's not ready to have a steady relationship. You deserve someone who wants the same things as you do. You can try to talk to him, but most likely he will say that he's into you and he wouldn't get with someone else. But, are you to believe him if he has already tried to pick someone else up in front of you? And, if he's tried in front of you, what is he really doing when you're not around? You should think long and hard about this. You two may get on well when you are together, but most players are smooth and easy going and get along well with everyone.

get rid of him u will be better of without him!!!!!!!!u say he is sweet and kind but once a player always a player!if he tryed to get with another girl in front of ur eyes then theres ur player proof and how much more proof will u need till ur heart gets broke!i dont know about u but when ur heart gets broke it really isnt nice and personaly if ur gonna want to stay with him then thats ur choice but if he cant love u for who u r as a person then he really aint worth ur time u can do better u know u can,dont give him a chance cause once u give him a chance he will probably do it again and again cause he will just think oh she will give me another chance!u say could u try make him realise that its not fair what he is doing well u could try but what is the point in trying with some1 like that and trust me he knows what he is doing and he knows its not fair cause hes a player and probably always will be especially if u give him a chance he will brake ur heart and im sure u dont want that so dump him be4 u get hurt!u will be so much happyer with some1 who loves u 4u then u wont have 2worry about them trying it with other girls cause u know he loves u!DONT GIVE HIM A CHANCE HES NOT WORTH UR TIME!!!!!!!!!!

if you are looking for a relationship, which i think you are, i strongly believe this fella is not the right type of guy. I don't really want a relationship with a girl, but that doesn't mean i'm gonna get into one just for "that".. i respect them enough to not just have sex with them, and not break their hearts. A woman is the most beautiful creature on this earth, and should be treated with respect and kindness and is something a man should cherish.

yes, get rid of him. Tell him you deserve better than some guy whose gonna take you out and then hit on another girl right in front you. His actions are disrespectful and a red flag that he will not be completely devoted to you. He won't change until he's ready to. Don't be naive and think you are "the one" that will make him realize that he wants to be in love with one girl.

Break up with him. He doesn' thave a brain if he starts hooking up with girls in front of you. he has no respect for you. You can try to speak to him with what he did but I doubt he'll understand. He'll proabbyl tell yous omelines and keep doing what he does. Give up. Don't get hurt by this guy. The next step is him cheTING ON YOU and you don't wnt that.

You've given him his chance I think you should dump him because the farther you get into a relationship and then having to know that he is still cheating on you will fall and hurt really bad. Do what is your best judgement though.

i think personally any girl is worth more than to be cheated on. within a relationship it is all about trust and if you cant trust him then there may not be a future unless you are willing to share him.
You deserve respect and all may be well in other departments but but he has to understand that he cant keep treating you like this. don't just split up with him talk to him about it try and make him see it from your point of view and if he doesn't change then i think you should finish it. hope that helps xx
