They let the older kids in first. My friend, who is five months younger than me got in. You only have to be passing a certain amount of classed to get in. I'm passing all my classes. I'm always in there trying to sighn up and asking questions, or at least I feel like I am. It seems everyone knows things that I don't. I feel confused and unsure all the time but I'm just a freshman. I once asked her where the computer lab was and her dirrections led me to the special kids' computer lab (it's a big school, so they have their own lab) where I was imediately confronted by the teacher and given dirrections to the normal computer labs. I guess I'm a bit odd but I usualy don't worry about people thinking I'm special. My real concern is getting into Drivers Ed. How do I show her that I'm not special and I'm perfectly fit to drive a car so she will submitt my forms?

Talk to your principle about your concerns.

Don't let this lady ruin your attitude or chance of driving, she's obviously stereotyping you. Address this to your parent's and I would suggest them to talk to the principal about how they are going to write a letter to the school board on your behalf in regards to the mistreatement you are getting. I'm sure you want to leave your parents out of it, but I believe it is in your best interest to involve them this time around.

Have your parents go with you, and if she still denies you, without a resonable explaination, then get an appointment for you and your parents to consult the principal....by the way...even *special kids* are allowed to drive, as long as they pass the tests too.

Demand service from the lady behind the desk and ask her to do her job. Tell her you didn't ask her opinion about you and add that you think she's ugly and fat yet you didn't really say anything about it because it has nothing to do with driver's ed. If you pass you pass and if you fail you fail.

Have your parents go in and demand you receive the forms.
