Do NOT take medicine for stress.....It's exactly what "they" want you to do..."they" being pharmaceutical companies, the government, so on, etc. All you need to do is learn breathing exercises and quit with this plastic, throw-away, I've gotta have it now mentality that "they" shove down your throat on a constant basis. Doing meditation, breathing exercises & yoga plus including visualization are all most excellent ways to completely get rid of stress and enhance your life. You don't have to do all of them and you don't have to do them every day. There are scores of books/video and what not about all this but your best bet is to just take a yoga class (basic) and speak to the instructor afterwards. And remember, people will say "st johns wort"... not good either. good luck!!

You can relieve stress by not letting everything in life get to you.You have to think how much of things bothers you is really a issue.I use to stress over everything until one day I said to myself I hate life.At that moment I started to think raising 6 kids can be stressful but dont have to be.Now I dont have stress from the kids because I now think that all their problems in school is just normal everyday issues.I use to stress over bills. Now I just think if they are due by the 15th of the month I will make it a goal to pay them by the 14th or sooner if I can.I have a care free attitude now and it has made life alot more enjoyable.I pick my battles and let the rest go.

yeah. get some normal bubble bath and take a long soak. try going to the gym and getting a workout, this will make you feel better about yourself. then try meditating; sit in a quiet, clear space where you can relax for half an hour; close your eyes and gentlt but firmly push everything out of your mind, making it totally blank. then try to stay there with your mind clear for 10 secs, increasing the time each time you mange the previous goal. then when you go to sleep, put a drop of lavender oil on your pillow and this will help you sleep better. in the morning confront your worries and deal with them so that they go away. ♥b♥

There is a herbal remedy by the make of BACH - which is supposed to relieve stress. Also certain types of vitamins and minerals can help. Avoid high doses of alcohol, caffiene etc. I think Magnesium is supposed to help because according to Boots healthcare, if you take one before you go to bed it helps you to sleep.
