i dont want to over cook it but i didnt know that the light goes off when it is done preheating

it was suppossed to be 450 degress for 14 minutes

I HAD ALREADY STARTED THE TIMER WHEN I PUT THEM IN SO I DONT KNOW HOW LONG THEY HAVE BEEN COOKING

Most likely you thawed them during preheating, go with the 14 minutes or add about 5 more and they should be OK. What you having on the side? I getting hungry.

Nothing! Just keep checking on it. Chicken strips doesn't take that long to cook. Make sure you take them out a little before the 14 minutes are up.

Cut into one and see how 'done' it is...don't panic...you'll just need to watch them more closely, and check on them, than if you'd put them in at the proper time.

it is fine, just check on them every once in a while. I always put my fish sticks in early.

don't worry about it. if there frozen it will defrost them a little for you. if their raw it still will not hurt them
